HUDSON BAY — A precautionary drinking water advisory has been issued for the Town of Hudson Bay, effective Jan. 13 due to elevated turbidity levels in the community’s water supply.
The Town of Hudson Bay said crews are actively investigating the cause of the increased turbidity, but as of noon on Jan. 14, no source has been identified. Residents are urged to follow all guidelines outlined by the town to ensure public safety.
The advisory applies to the entire town. Officials said crews will not be going door to door to notify residents and are asking the public to share the information with anyone who may not have access to social media.
The town acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the advisory but stressed that protecting public health remains the top priority.
Residents will be notified as soon as additional information becomes available or when the advisory is lifted.
