Police seize $8,000 of meth

Four people are in custody after a multi-agency drug and weapons arrest.

On July 11, officers from the Prince Albert Police patrol unit and the Rosthern RCMP assisted members of the Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) in an investigation.

The investigation netted 99.1 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of about $8,000.

Police also seized over $6,000 in cash and a functioning taser.

Two Saskatoon men, aged 29 and 36, are facing multiple drug and weapons charges. The 29-year-old is also charged with breaching his court-ordered conditions.

A 25-year-old man from Prince Albert and a 28-year-old woman from Prince Albert have been charged with possession of meth for the purpose of trafficking. The 25-year-old has also been charged with breaching a court order.

All four were due in court on July 12.

ISET is made up of members of the Prince Albert Police and the RCMP.
