The Prince Albert Police Service and Prince Albert RCMP are searching for Saskatchewan Penitentiary inmate who escaped custody while being transported on Feb. 20.
Keiston Custer, 30, is serving a 10 year and two day sentence for manslaughter and multiple other charges. Correctional Service Canada sent out a press release about his escape late Monday afternoon.
A warrant has been issued for Custer’s arrest. Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact police.
Custer is described at 5’10 tall and 181 pounds with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium complexion.
In the press release. the CSC said it is investigate the circumstances of this incident and working with the police to locate Custer as quickly as possible.
