The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating following a drive by shooting on Sunday.
At approximately 11:45 a.m. on March 30 police were called to the 200 block of Oxford Street NW for a weapons offence. Initial information stated a vehicle drove through an alley and then two gunshots were heard.
Officers quickly arrived on scene and located damage to a property consistent with a firearm being discharged. No one was physically injured as a result of this incident.The suspect vehicle fled the sceneimmediately after the incident; however, officers located the vehicle a few hours later parked in the 900 block of Albright Crescent. A high risk vehicle stop was conducted and three occupants, two males and one female, were arrested without further incident.Upon further search of the vehicle, two firearms and an air soft gun were located from the vehicle and seized.
A 34-year-old man, 23-year-old man, and 23-year-old woman are facing charges relating to careless use and storage of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon, tampering with a serial number and prohibited weapon in a motor vehicle.
