Prince Albert police have charged a 33-year-old woman with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and breaching court ordered conditions following an investigation into the death of a 35-year-old man.

Alisha Ross, 33, made her first court appearance on Tuesday. She is accused of killing Brett Charles, 35. Police say Ross and Charles knew each other.

Charles’ body was found inside a residence on the 300 block of River Street East. Officers were called to the scene at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday following reports of an unwanted person. They arrested three people inside the residence at the time, but no charges were laid.
