PAPS arrests 14-year-old boy suspected of shooting 13-year-old

The Prince Albert Police Service has arrested a 14-year-old boy suspected of shooting a 13-year-old boy Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 1600 block of 17th Street West at around 4:17 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Patrol and canine units visited the scene and found the 13-year-old boy with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

The boy was transported to Victoria Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested a 14-year-old boy at around 9:13 a.m. on Friday morning at a residence on the 3000 block of Dunn Drive. The investigation is still ongoing.
