Only two incumbents remain on NESD Board

NORTHEAST – The Northeast School Division has elected new trustees to the NESD board. On Wednesday, Nov. 13 along with many municipal elections, the school division also held their vote for new board trustees and the NESD will see only two trustees remain in their positions.  

Following are the results of the board election: 

Subdivision 1 – Hudson Bay and area

Kathrene Banks 381 votes – elected, incumbent 

Elizabeth Van Nes 111 votes – new 

Subdivision 2 – Carrot River and Arborfield areas

Sherri Hanson 234 votes – incumbent 

Ken Teichroeb 248 votes – elected 

Subdivision 4 – Melfort and area

Time Hoenmans 533 votes – elected – new 

Christina Pryblski 440 votes  

Subdivision 6 – Tisdale and area

Lindsey Ernst 260 votes – new  

Lori Kidney 333 votes – elected – incumbent 

Subdivision 7 – Bjorkdale and Porcupine Plain

George Schroepfer 36 votes – new 

Mark van Haaster – 113 votes – new  

Town of Nipawin

Logan Campbell 473 votes – elected – new 

Marla Walton 446 votes- Incumbent 

The NESD board will see a considerable change in the board with all but two trustees being new. Acclaimed trustees were Jason Ens in Subdivision 3 and Ryan Peterson of Subdivision 5. Their first board meeting has been called for Nov. 19 in Melfort.
