One taken to hospital after car crashes into Co-op food store

Paramedics took one person to hospital on Friday after a car crashed into the Lake Country Co-op Food Store in Prince Albert.

Located in the Cornerstone area on 15th Street East, the building and the red car suffered significant damage. However, according to a Parkland Ambulance tweet, the patient is in good condition for further care.

Parkland’s tweet reporting paramedics were on scene was posted at about 1:15 p.m. The vehicle was being towed about half an hour later.
