No risk to public after natural gas line hit at worksite north of St. Louis

SaskEnergy says there is no risk to the public and no impact to gas service after someone hit a natural gas line at a worksite just north of St. Louis.

The incident occurred at around noon on Tuesday. SaskEnergy said residents in the area may have heard and loud noise or witnessed a large cloud of dust.

Onsite crews have isolated the line and stopped the release, SaskEnergy reported in a press release, and will launch repairs immediately.
