New pizza parlour open

A new pizza place opened in Prince Albert last week, and so far, the community is embracing the city’s newest pizza parlour.

Pizza 73 opened up at 3300 Second Avenue West last week. It’s the chain’s first franchise in Prince Albert, and their fifth in the province.

“It’s very exciting for us to open our fifth location in the Saskatchewan market,” said Pizza 73 chief marketing officer Pat Finelli.

“We’ve had a lot of requests and people asking when Pizza 73 was coming out here, and we found a great location on the south side of town.”

Reception has been good.

“It’s great,” Finelli said. “It’s doing exactly what we wanted it to. We’re getting a lot of positive feedback from some customers who are telling our franchisee out there that they love the pizza and wings.”

Even though the economy is in a bit of a slowdown, Finelli said it’s a good time to expand operations.

‘This is when we look for locations so when it does turn around, we’re embedded in the community,” he said.

“Hopefully everyone loves the Pizza 73 pizza and chicken wings and we grow. We’re looking forward to growing the Pizza 73 brand in Prince Albert.”
