The Mustangs led 1-0 after the first period and 2-0 after the second period.
Zac Somers, Logan Belton and Cole Unger scored the Mustangs goals.
Ethan Farrow made 24 saves for the Terriers.

Liam Fitzgerald had a pair of goals for Weyburn; Simon Martin and Josh Sale added the other Red Wings goals.
Leighton Carruthers scored the Bombers lone goal.
Matthew Kieper made 24 saves for Flin Flon; Angelo Zol made 31 saves for Weyburn.
