A man who went missing while driving north towards Prince Albert is deceased.
According to the Prince Albert RCMP, Travis MacDonald’s body was found at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday by a search group organized in conjunction with his family. The investigation is ongoing.
Macdonald, from Stony Rapids, was last seen travelling in a 1991 blue and grey GMC extended cab truck on Highway 11, headed north, at about 4 a.m. on Oct. 8. The vehicle was located on a grid road near the city some time later.
According to Justin Goodin, a friend who says he was travelling with MacDonald at the time, he lost sight of the truck along the highway. Goodin said he later got a message from someone who had found the truck. Goodin then reported it to police as suspicious.
