Canadian Rangers have found a man who went missing near Lac La Ronge Wednesday.

The RCMP confirmed that Charles Samuel Thomas made his way to an occupied cabin, where he was picked up by the Canadian Rangers and returned to La Ronge. He was sent for medical treatment as a “precautionary measure,” but is said to be in good condition.

Thomas, who disappeared Wednesday morning into a remote and heavily wooded area, was the subject of a search effort involving the RCMP, Canadian Rangers and an aerial search team.
