Local RM office approved to reopen after COVID-19 case

The RM of Prince Albert and RM of Buckland have both been approved by local public health to reopen their offices as of Tuesday, May 11.

The offices were both closed Friday due to an individual who works in the building testing positive for COVID-19.

Both Buckland and Prince Albert made an announcement in a Facebook post last Friday morning.

As a result of the diagnosis, all staff will be in isolation and self monitoring following Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) guidelines.

The RM of Buckland has rescheduled their regular meeting for May 10 for May 17, the new date for the RM of Prince Albert’s meeting has not been announced.

The building on River Street is home to the RM of Prince Albert, Prince Albert Rural Water Utility, Prince Albert Regional Planning Commission and RM of Buckland.
