If you’re looking for Lawton Partners on Prince Albert’s South Industrial Drive, you won’t find it.

The financial planning company invested in a new office located on 210 – 25th St. West, near Parkland Ambulance Care.

Senior partner Pat Weir laughed during the ribbon cutting when she said good things do, in fact, happen when you’re over 60-years-old.

“It’s kind of a dream I’ve always had and it’s come to fruition,” she said.

“I told my younger partners that, you know, it makes sense to pay rent to yourself and coincidentally I see a for sale sign go up…and I thought ‘That looks like one that could be renovated quite easily and have a nice visibility,’ so that’s how it all came about, about two years ago,” said Weir.

She noted it’s nice to be immersed in the city’s action and “see the world go by,” as they’re now located right along 2nd Avenue West.

“I’m very proud of my city and it’s nice to invest in (it) and enjoy the investment while I’m still working and leave a legacy from our partners,” she said.
