HUMBOLDT — The City of Humboldt is welcoming residents to the holiday season with the opening of the Humboldt Holiday Trail, a drive-through light display at the city campground each weekend leading up to Christmas.
“The lights are ready — are you?” the city said in a social media post announcing the opening night.
The trail transforms the campground into a glowing winter attraction, featuring twinkling lights, illuminated scenes, and festive displays created by local businesses, community groups and volunteers.
City officials thanked Nutrien and the Saskatoon Community Foundation for helping launch the project through the Building Stronger Communities Together grant.
Admission is $10 per vehicle at the gate, with proceeds supporting the service club or charity volunteering that evening. Futuristic Industries will receive funds collected on Friday, Dec. 12.
The Humboldt Holiday Trail is open on weekends throughout December and offers a family-friendly way to enjoy the sights and spirit of the season.
