Fouquette joins Raiders in Regina

With Kaiden Guhle still on the sidelines with a hand injury and Nolan Allan gearing up to join Canada’s Under-18 team in Texas, the Prince Albert Raiders have called up one of their top defensive prospects.

The team announced on Monday afternoon that 16-year-old blueliner Tre Fouquette had been added to their roster after clearing Saskatchewan Health Authority and Western Hockey League protocols.

Fouquette, who calls Warman home, was a fourth round pick by the Raiders in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft and signed a contract with the club in September of that year.

He had 11 points in 46 games over the last two seasons with the Prince Albert Mintos and was also on Team Saskatchewan’s gold medal winning side at the 2019 WHL Cup tournament in Calgary.

The Raiders will be back in action on Tuesday night when they’ll face the Regina Pats at 8 p.m.
