One person was injured following a structure fire at a business on 15th Street West Thursday morning.
Prince Albert firefighters were called to the 7-11 on 15th Street at 11 a.m. following reports of a fire. Crews arrived to find a fire inside the building. They were able to extinguish the blaze, but there was “significant damage to the interior”, according to a PA Fire Department update posted on social media.
One staff member was treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
The fire was intentionally set in a shelving unit, the Fire Department reported, and grew rapidly. Prince Albert police are currently investigating the incident.
