CWE brought a high-energy night of wrestling to Prince Albert on Saturday, delivering a five-match card that mixed local talent, travelling veterans and a special appearance by former WWE star Austin Aries.
The opening match saw Robby Royce defeat Tony Kozina in a fast-paced bout that set the tone for the night. The tag team match that followed had Hotshot Danny Duggan and Ronnie Attitude take on Crude Oil members Cody Mac and Canadian Goose. Cody Mac and Canadian Goose came away with the win.
One of the most anticipated moments of the night featured Austin Aries facing the Crazy Mofo Cam!!ikaze. Cam!!ikaze earned a big reaction from the crowd with a win over the visiting star.
The CWE championship match saw Chad Daniels defend his title against AJ Sanchez. Daniels held on to the belt after a hard-hitting match.
The night ended with an over-the-top rumble with a new wrestler entering every minute. Cody Mac started the match with Ronnie Attitude entering second. Eliminations came quickly, including Danny Duggan being tossed out in under a minute. The action continued as Camikaze, Tony Kozina, Riley Cruz, and AJ Sanchez entered the ring in sequence. AJ Sanchez eliminated Kozina, only for Cody Mac to eliminate Sanchez moments later. Riley eliminated Cody before Santa Claus made a surprise appearance and was followed by champion Chad Daniels. Together they eliminated Riley Cruz.
Robby Royce joined the match next and eliminated Ronnie Attitude. Camikaze then went on a run, eliminating Robby Royce and Chad Daniels to stand as the last man in the ring. Camikaze won the rumble to close out the night.
