Police confirm that a body was found near the train tracks last week – the second such incident in about a month – but say that the death was not criminal in nature.
Last Tuesday, at about 5:45 p.m., police got a call. A member of the public had found “a person down” in a wooded area just south of the train tracks on the 700 block of 15 Street East.
When officers arrived, they found the body of a 61-year-old Prince Albert man, who was pronounced dead.
Along with the coroner, police determined that the death was “not criminal in nature.”
