The Prince Albert Police arrested 49 people and responded to 297 calls for service over the weekend, including a bike theft and a suspicious vehicle.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, the police were dispatched to a call on Blackwood Drive and Fonyo Road. The resident had restrained a teen male who had allegedly stolen a bike from the residence. Police arrested the 16-year-old Prince Albert teen. He was charged with possession of property obtained by crime not exceeding $5,000. His first court appearance was scheduled for Monday.
Friday afternoon, at 1:06 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in the 1000 Block of Eighth Street East.
The driver refused to provide identification to officers, and when searched, was found to be in possession of several small baggies of cocaine.
The 23-year-old woman has been charged with possession of cocaine, being at large of an undertaking to not possess drugs or alcohol and two counts of breaching probation orders to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
She was due for a first appearance Monday.
