A new women’s champion was crowned and the title match went to a no contest as Canadian Wrestling’s Elite returned to Plaza 88 for the Cruel Summer Tour on Sunday.
A packed house witnessed champion “The Crazy MoFo” CAM!!ikaze retain against former CWE Champion “Chizzled” Chad Daniels in a brutal match with Daniels working the champ’s leg extensively and the referee was struck eventually the locker room emptied after the match was declared a no contest.
In the 365 Pro Wrestling Global Women’s Championship Match Germany’s “Total Package” Lory defeated champion Becky Beech.
In the special attraction match guest Trevor Lee pinned Danny Diggler, during the match the referee power slammed Diggler and Lee counted the pin. Lee took photos with fans at intermission in the ring.
In what was a match to declare what the best country was Canada’s Big Mike Miller and Big Chief defeated “Hotshot” Danny Duggan and Ronnie Attitude. Big Chief led a march around the ring with children after the victory.
In the opening match CWE Central Canadian Champion “Crude Oil” Cody Mac retained over “Headline” Shawn Martens.
