It’s that time of the year again for the Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce to hold their annual membership appreciation BBQ get together.
Despite cool temperatures and a stiff wind, attendees crammed into the outdoor patio at Ricky’s All Day Grill for the event.
“It’s connecting people,’ Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce CEO Patty Hughes said. “That’s what the chamber does. We connect our business people and allow them to have those relationships.”
Hughes said it was wonderful to see everyone present and also extend a big thank you to Ricky’s for hosting everybody at their patio. She said the event has grown significantly since COVID.
“This is always on our calendar,” she said. “Regardless of the weather, we always try to make sure we have a great day. It’s not the most perfect weather, but we’re here together and enjoying it.”
Hughes said the Chamber appreciates the strong support they get for the event. She added that it’s a great opportunity for members and businesses to network.
“The conversations that you hear around the tables are like, ‘this is what we’re doing’ and that’s what the chamber does, to connect our business people,” she said.
