Buffalo Narrows RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance locating a suspect wanted in connection to an incident that took place Sunday.

Lyle Jacques Chartier, 24, has been charged with abduction, extortion, uttering threats, taking an automobile without consent and impaired driving after an incident involving his girlfriend and children on September 10. His girlfriend and children have been located safely, however police had not been able to locate Chartier.

A warrant has been issued for Chartier’s arrest. Anyone with information regarding Chartier’s wheareabouts is urged to contact the Buffalo Narrows RCMP at 306-235-6660, their local police station, of Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
