
The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) made 37 arrests out of the 292 calls they responded to between Friday night and Monday morning.
The first involved a break and enter on Friday evening.
Shortly after 9 p.m., a man living on the 200 block of 6th Street East said he was watching TV when he noticed someone in his home.
The man grabbed his wallet off of the counter and ran out the back door heading towards an alley.
The homeowner told police the suspect was wearing a grey hoodie, adding his door was unlocked at the time.
Then, at around 11 p.m. also on Friday night, officers responded to a robbery complaint on the 600 block of River Street West.
A man reported he had stopped to talk to a woman when a man came up behind him.
A news release said “a fight ensued” and the woman allegedly pulled out a knife and the man had a wooden club.
The two then took the victim’s bike.
Police are still investigating the incident.
In a separate call on Saturday, the owners of a home on the 600 Block of Chura Court reported their bike had been stolen from their garage just after 2 p.m.
The lime green bike is the Specialized brand and is valued at about $5000.
Police are investigating.
