Autopsy completed after human remains found in Prince Albert on Oct. 16

The Prince Albert Police Service confirmed that the human remains found on 19th Street East in Prince Albert belong to a male, but his identity has not been confirmed.

The PAPS reported that an autopsy took place on Oct. 22. The Office of the Chief Coroner, the PAPS Criminal Investigations Division and Forensic Identification Division continue to investigate.

Police received a report that a deceased person had been found at the 400 block of 19th Street East around 6 p.m. on Oct. 16. They arrived to find human remains at the scene.

Investigators have notified loved ones of individuals who were previously reported missing in Prince Albert and have not yet been located.
