While it was meant to be an evening of celebrating Indigenous artists in the community, the La Ronge Arts Council hosted an evening of art, conversation an tea.
Knighton Hillstrom, who specializes in creating tea from the land, has several varieties of tea.
Hillstrom talked about the various teas, their benefits, and his process of hunting and gathering the plants, that he uses to create the teas.
People gathered and visited in a quiet library setting, nourished by the teas, all making, what was described by several participants as, “a very pleasant evening.”
