
The votes are in and the finalists have been announced for the 2025 Mel-Bex Award Gala.
The Awards will be handed out during a celebration of the Melfort Business Community on March 22 in the CJVR Performing Arts Theatre.
Heritage Award nominees are Wapiti Valley Ski and Board Resort, Plus Stuff Junction, Nutters Everyday Naturals, Golden Grain Bakery and Trail Tire Melfort.
The Community Involvement – Business/Corporate nominees are Dress Well with Gisele, MNP–Melfort, Ripley Ford, TJ’s Pizza and Diamond Dodge.
The Community Involvement – Non Profit nominees are Northeast Outreach and Support Services(NEOSS), Melfort Kinsmen/Kinettes, Melfort Arts Council, Rotary Club of Melfort and Plus Stuff Junction.
Property Appearance nominees are Wapiti Valley Ski and Board Resort, FYI Doctors-Melfort, Edward Jones- Bobby Lyn L Weiman and SpaFit by Linda .
Customer Service nominees are Ripley Ford, Northeast Dental, Nutters Everyday Naturals, SpaFit by Linda, Melfort Liquor Loft and Edward Jones- Bobby Lyn L. Weiman.
Business of the Year (15 and under Employees) nominees are Backstage Music, Golden Grain Bakery, SpaFit by Linda, Prairie Hope Wellness and Plus Stuff Junction
Business of the Year (16 and Over Employees) nominees are Wapiti Valley Ski and Board Resort, Ripley Ford, Prairie North Co-op, Redhead Equipment and Suncrest College.
The Citizen of the Year is Dr. (Yemi) Adeyemi Laosebikan and Faluke Laosebikan and the Junior Citizen of the Year is Baylee Turner.
The Mel-Bex Awards are on March 22 in the CJVR Performing Arts Theatre at the Kerry Vickar Centre. The Awards will be handed out during the celebration of the Melfort Business Community.
