Applications are now open for positions on the city’s boards and committees, according to a press release sent on Tuesday.
The positions are volunteer-based with exceptions to the Appeal Boards, the release stated.
“The city is looking for individuals interested in engaging on civic matters and providing ideas and constructive input to help shape city policy and decisions on a broad range of issues,” the release read.
City Clerk Sherry Person said experience on a civic board or committee is not required.
“We are looking for diverse representation so we encourage all residents with an interest in civic issues to apply,” Person said.
Application forms can be completed online at www.citypa.ca/boards-and-committees or completed in person at the City Clerk’s Office, on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 1084 Central Avenue.
