Police respond to early Thursday aggravated assault

A 21-year-old man is in hospital after a stabbing early on Thursday.

Prince Albert police responded to the 1000 block of Branion Drive around 4 a.m. for a report of an aggravated assault.

Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital with two stab wounds.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old without incident at a nearby home.

Man wanted for sexual assault of a minor arrested

Police arrested Brett Elliott Trevor Bear shortly after midnight on Wednesday. The 27-year-old was wanted on outstanding warrants and charges of sexual interference and sexual assault.

Officers located Bear at a Prince Albert home on the 1200 block of 28th Street East.
