Up until 1 p.m. on Sunday, Prince Albert’s Parkland Ambulance responded to 92 calls–five of which were vehicle collisions it noted in a news release.
The first occurred at about 12:44 a.m. on Saturday on the 4400 block of 2nd Avenue West, which is near the Super 8 hotel. Paramedics reported that there were no injuries.
At 10:51 a.m. later that day, Parkland responded to an accident in the Peter Pond area. Paramedics took a 24-year-old woman to hospital in good condition for further care.
A little over 12 hours later, at 11:35 p.m., paramedics went to the 1400 block of 7th Street East near St. John Community School. A vehicle had hit a pole, which didn’t cause any injuries.
There were two collisions as of 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The first happened on Highway 3 West near Kachurs Golf Course. At about 6:15 a.m., Parkland attended the scene, taking two people to hospital in stable condition.
At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, paramedics responded to a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of 15th Street and 6th Avenue West. They took two people to hospital with minor injuries.
