Ten people have been hospitalized, but no one is dead after a collision involving a semi truck and a bus in Kerrobert at the intersections of highways 21, 31 and 51 Friday evening.
According to an RCMP press release, there were 16 people on board the bus at the time of the collision. Ten were taken to Kerrobert with undetermined injuries, with three of them transported to Saskatoon for further assistance. Two of them were taken by STARS, and one by land ambulance.
The remaining seven injured people are expected to receive medical assistance at the Kerrobert hospital, with no further transportaiton needed.
According to the Saskatoon StarPhoenix, the bus was carrying employees of O.J. Pipelines. They were travelling back to Kindersley.
The collision is under investigation. The intersection was expected to remain closed until at least 2 a.m.
