Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy following an alleged threat directed toward a La Ronge high school.
The La Ronge RCMP said they first learned of a threat directed toward the Churchill Community High School on Monday morning. Their investigation led them to a teen from La Ronge. They placed him under arrest and charged him with one count of uttering threats.
No one was injured in connection with the alleged threat, according to the RCMP.
Police cannot release the name of the accused due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He was released from custody and is due to appear in court on August 10.
