Police lay charges after seizing cocaine and rifle during search of Muskoday residence

Police have arrested a 35-year-old man after conducting a search warrant at a residence on Muskoday First Nation.

Members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) and RCMP conducted the search at around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 4. In addition to the arrest, they also seized more than 100 grams of cocaine and a loaded SKS rifle.

The 35-year-old man faces numerous firearms related charges and one charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
